[ About 10 minutes later, Yuji will hear some aggressive knocks at his dorm room door. Despite how ticked off Megumi had been, he's actually brought some bottled water and food from the cafeteria. He didn't have time to go into the city to get anything better. It's something at least. ]

[eyescar]

[ Yuji opens it and lets him in, looking... Totally fine. ]

Yo! Come on in.

[ He goes to sit on his bed, waiting for the lecture. ]

[ Before he gives the lecture they both know is coming, Megumi storms over to the other boy, grabbing his arm and yanking him closer so that he can get a better look at him. ]

[ Woah, okay, he jerks forward with the yank before he laughs and turns to show the back of his head and then lifts his shirt to show his stomach. ]

[ It's not ... too bad? But it's still very concerning that Yuji had let LILITH cut him open and mess with his body. The wounds do seem to be healing nicely though. There's a sigh, and he relents, letting the boy go. That doesn't mean he's off the hook, though. Megumi crosses his arms, still showing his disapproval. ]

And was the procedure painful?

[ Ah, well... Yuji lowers his shirt again, careful to dodge around his stitches. ]

It wasn't too bad.

But right now, Megumi doesn't suspect anything, so he's safe. ]

I want to hit you, but that might disturb the stitches. [ So consider this an I.O.U for domestic violence when Yuji gets better. ]

I should be fine in a few days. The doctor and Alex explained everything before they did the surgery and it would probably have been a lot worse for someone who wasn't me.

[ That's true, at least! He resists the urge to rub the back of his neck. ]
